LearningBeans® Worlds is a feature-rich 'Serious Games' platform for deploying pre-existing information and embedded tasks in a graphically-rich and engaging manner.

PIXELearning have created LearningBeans® Worlds specifically in response to the many requests that we had from the private and public sector for an online '3D virtual environment' that is optimised to work within their IT environments.

Many training/HR professionals have experimented with platforms such as Second Life only to find that the technical requirements, usability issues, security weaknesses and general lack of structure mean that they cannot be used.

LearningBeans® Worlds is 100% web-based, accessed through any standard browser and requires only the Adobe Flash player. The file sizes have been optimised for DSL internet connections.

A typical requirement is for induction training; where learners can log into the virtual world (or office building) and access existing documents, video files, audio files and other information to then make use of these to fulfill a scenario or client-specific challenge.

Client-specific processes and systems can be modeled within the environment, learner performance captured and feedback posted to an LMS or other external management system if required.

Access to the World is controlled via a custom login system or via an existing LMS.
