LearningBeans® BizSim is our in-house technology platform for creating business simulations.

In the past the term 'business simulation' very often meant a training or education experience that was predominantly delivered using spreadsheets or many sheets of paper.

PIXELearning has created the LearningBeans platform specifically to combine the authentic systems or process simulation rigor of these earlier approaches with the high engagement capabilities of entertainment computer games.

Learners can literally run a company, analyze complex data relating to, for example, marketing or financial performance and make key decisions all with the aim of achieving the product/solution-specific objective such as to maximise net profit.

Simulations which are based on LearningBeans® are web-based, optimised for corporate IT environments, graphically rich, feature rich and require only a browser and the Adobe Flash player to use.

Whilst the current generation of the engine delivers single-player learning experiences, PIXElearning have engineered the underlying structure to allow us, in 2008, to deploy collaborative and competitive modes of multiplayer gameplay.
