New contracts and other news

The last few months have seen PIXELearning secure:

  • significant additional contract work from our existing US-based 'Big 4' accountancy firm (audit training);
  • a major contract with a global petrochemical giant (process streamlining / global SAP rollout);
  • a large project with the philanthropic arm of a global IT services and hardware vendor (business and IT training for global rollout); and,
  • a major win with the largest US cable TV, internet and telecom provider (call center agent training).

We are not resting on our laurels though and are also hard at work developing products in partnership with leading specialists in several market sectors as well a developing sales distribution channels with partners in the UK, EU and US.

We are also pleased to announce that we shall be exhibiting (at booth 1609) at the ASTD 2008 Conference. If you are going to be there please pop in and talk to us. Both our CEO (Kevin Corti) and our Sales Director (Richard Smith) will be available for all three days of the expo where, incidentally, we will also be publicly announced as the developer of the ASTD Excellence in Practice Award-winning simulation.

In the UK PIXELearning has been asked to present at the 3rd annual Apply Serious Games conference to be held on 10th July at RIBA in London. Our CEO, Kevin Corti, will be delivering a key session.

From ASG'08 site:

"Now in its third year, ASG 2008 - with around 250 attending last year - this event is a packed day of discussion and debate across the serious games genres, focusing on the key areas for awareness, learning, branding and all uses of immersive and engaging environments.
Now Microsoft and IBM have entered the market, and the market has been valued at $9 Billion by Microsoft, we expect even more demand to discover what's the latest buzz, where's the reality of the application and how serious games are developed and what they can tell us about effective convergence and mashup".

Keynote speaker: Lord David Puttnam plus 13+ other speakers across all accessible sessions.
