PIXELearning get the AUDIOTAIN advantage
The AUDIOTAIN consortium has developed a technological
platform capable of communicating the right knowledge to the right
place at the right time by making use of gaming concepts that have
proven to be successful at motivating people. AUDIOTAIN's system
consists of tools to: create, edit and manage media and game content,
deliver knowledge to end users, test end users' knowledge, and enable
multiple users to communicate with each other and/or the system.
"AUDIOTAIN is a set of tools providing an end-to-end solution
for producers, the music industry, museums, producers and broadcasters,"
says junior project leader Nico de Abreu. "The basic feature
provides for the creative part to remain in the hands of the content
provider."
Kevin Corti, Head of e-learning, at project member PIXELearning,
a UK-based e-learning company, adds that AUDIOTAIN is "geared
toward helping people who aren't technical to rapidly develop applications
using templates online because there is no coding or graphics."
The AUDIOTAIN system "gives us an extra tool in e-learning
solutions," Corti says. "We can potentially build online
games really, really quickly - in couple weeks versus six months."
